New Coop at Cornerstone Church

We will start a new coop at Cornerstone Church this fall and everyone is welcome. We will meet the first Tuesday of every month from 9:30am-2:30pm. We will also be having educational field trips on the third Thursday of the month. We will meet August- May.The cost for the year will be as follows:for families with
1 or 2 children will be $20.00
3 or 4 children will be $25.00
5+ children will be $30.00
Each family will be responsible for the cost of field trips. We are planning to have graduation for grades k,8,12. In conjunction there will also be an academic awards banquet in mid May. Registration is now open but fees are not required until the first coop meeting on August 5, 2008. You may register on line at www.cornerstonechurch.tv then click on cornerstone kids coop. Just Moved!

University Heights Baptist Church will host Just Moved!, an encouraging three-week series for women new to the Springfield community. There will be a tea September 7 at 2 p.m. if you are interested in learning more about this ministry and meeting other participants. The study will be held three consecutive Sundays � September 21, 28 and October 5 � from 2�5 p.m. University Heights is located at 1010 S. National, at the intersection of National and Grand. Harvest Fest

Come and celebrate the harvest season at the farm! You�ll experience life on the farm through many favorite fall activities. Take a horse drawn wagon ride around the field, enjoy local bluegrass music by the campfire, and pick a pumpkin from our very own pumpkin patch. Fall Studio Classes

The Springfield Art Museum is offering studio art classes for children and adults 16 September through 22 November, 2008. The children's classes include: Pottery, Art Is Elementary, Painting and Drawing, Understanding Comics, and Art is Fun-Da-Mental. The cost of the children�s classes is $40 and includes the materials. Children�s classes will meet Saturdays beginning 20 September. Art Is Elementary For Home School Kids meets on Friday�s from 10 � 11:30 and begins on 19 September.
