The 4th Annual Rountree Neighborhood Historical Homes Tour
Ever passed through the Rountree neighborhood and admired the unique homes, wishing you could get a peek inside? The 2010 Rountree Historical Homes Tour, 1-5 p.m., offers an inviting opportunity to tour five homes in the historic Rountree neighborhood. Come spend a Spring afternoon taking in the diverse range of architectural styles, as you tour everything from a recently renovated American Bungalow to a Carthage Stone Mansion. In addition to the participating homes, the tour also features student musicians stationed at one of the homes, pedicab journeys through the neighborhood, and refreshments from Dancing Mule Coffee for purchase. All proceeds will benefit numerous educational opportunities for the students and teachers at Rountree Elementary. Tickets go on sale March 30th and will be sold in advance at the following locations for $10: Tea Bar & Bites, Smillie’s IGA, University Heights Baptist Church, Rountree Elementary School, and The Market. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the tour, at the door of any home, for $12. |
